Event: Early in the morning Densus88 and Brimob arrive in Tanah Runtuh. They move immediately to Basri's parents house, but he is not there. In the second house they go to, they find three men on the DPO, Dedi Parsan, Anang Mayetadu aka Papa Enal, and Paiman aka Sarjono, as well as two other men. Dedi is shot and dies on the way to the hospital. Ustadz Rian is shot and killed in disputed circumstances. Large amounts of weapons are seized. All major suspects are still on the loose. Later in the day at a funeral for Rian, a police officer is beaten to death.

Event: Police again come to Tanah Runtuh, which is heavily fortified with posts and weapons. As they arrive shots come from one of the houses and kill policemen Rony Iskandar and wounding others. Police return fire. Basri's brother is killed. 14 killed in total on Tanah Runtuh/civilian side. It is suspected three of those killed were passing by and not connected to the DPO. Several family members of the DPO were killed. One man from Mujahidin Kayamanya is also killed. Twenty men are arrested, only two of which were on the DPO, Wiwin Kalahe and Tugiran. Major weapons caches are found.
