Ferry had also handled drugs cases in Tangerang before being moved to Central Sulawesi.

Event: Carminalis Ndele is found beheaded after leaving his house with a man resembling Ahmad Laparigi. Ndele's head was dumped in a bag in the city suburb of Sayo, his body was found near Pinedapa village. Ahmad Laparigi arrested in connection with the murder but not charged.
Note: It is suspected that Ndele had refused to return part of the money allocated to his village for recovery back to Laparigi, which was common practice in Poso. The police did not have enough evidence to convict Laparigi.
